Cross the Boundary and Set Off on the Path to Resurrection—Become a Mimic's Apprentice in a World Where Reality and Illusion Intertwine.
A Call from a Brother’s Skull—
The human world is gradually collapsing under "Glyph-fungus" (Fù-jūn), a newly emerging contagious disease that claimed the life of Luan's older brother. Guided by a familiar voice, Luan unexpectedly discovers a passage to another world—one that can take him back to the "Reservation" tribe where he and his brother once relied on each other to survive.
Crossing the Boundary to the Ihavan Island Reservation—
In this other world exist "Mimics"—masters capable of revealing the true nature of reality through hand gestures. Driven to bring his brother back to life, Luan immerses himself in studying the "Power of Mimicry." He trains a group of apprentices and dispatches them across the boundary to search for the highest form of mimicry: the Power of Resurrection.
Yet, on the outskirts of the city, the apprentices find their path blocked by a shamaness...
Poems of the Beast Spirits: The Call of the Skull is adapted from Qiu Chang-ting's original fantasy novel Poems of the Beast Spirits. Combining Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and live performance, it guides the audience across the threshold between the real and the virtual, drawing them into an apocalyptic fantasy fable shaped by mysterious forces. Putting on the headset, the audience steps into the Shadow World to embark on a quest for the power of resurrection.

① Running Time: Approximately 60 minutes with no intermission. Ticket verification and admission open 15 minutes before showtime.
② Strict Punctuality: Due to the immersive and interactive nature of this experience, latecomers or participants who step out mid-performance will not be admitted or re-admitted. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable under these circumstances. Please arrive promptly.
③ Eyewear Recommendation: For optimal comfort and viewing quality, contact lenses are strongly recommended for guests who wear glasses. Although the headset accommodates standard-sized frames, larger frames may impede fit or risk damage during wear.
④ Motion Sensitivity Warning: The performance requires wearing a VR/MR headset. A small percentage of individuals may experience dizziness or mild motion sickness when using immersive devices. If you have concerns regarding your sensitivity to VR/MR technology, please consult a medical professional before participating.
⑤ Accessibility Note: Due to space constraints and mobility requirements within the venue layout, guests using wheelchairs are kindly requested to transfer to standard manual wheelchairs for admission.
